Citizens' participation in decision-making
A value by which we may assess (e-)consultations.
- Examples:
- public participation in decision-making
 - active citizenship
 - If everyone who wants to speak is given a platform
 - If there us any reason to believe that the consultee opinions will be listen too
 - A belief that there one´s ideas could actually influence the outcome.
 - There is a decission in stake and can be influenced by the consultation. It's not just 'marketing' to say... we asked.
 - genuine attempt by government to improve the quality of citizen participation
 - If the word consultation is not being used to mean one way communiucation
 - I feel I didn´t lose my team (time?) participating on it.
