Consultation on Proposals for The Juvenile Justice Centre & Supervision Order Rules 2007
When a young person is taken into custody they are given a document that explains their rights and the standards of care that they can expect whilst they are detained. As a result of changes in The Juvenile Justice system and the opening of the new purpose built Juvenile Justice Centre in Bangor, the document that young people are given, has been re-written and we are now asking you what you think of the new Juvenile Justice Rules that are being proposed. Policing Board Consultation on Young People's Involvement in Policing
There are a range of ways in which everyone in Northern Ireland can get involved in decision making around policing. District Policing Partnerships and the Policing Board are two examples, and yet neither have successfully engaged young people in policing issues. This consultation seeks to identify barriers to young people's involvement, and make recommendations on how young people can be fully involved in policing.
